La Filosofia dell’OSCT
Il Team, nato nel 2010 da un’idea di Alfio IT9EJW che ha coinvolto alcuni soci delle due sezioni ARI di Catania e Acireale, ha visto unirsi alcuni OM interessati all’attività dei Contest.
Senza nessuna velleità di grandi risultati, ma con la dichiarata volontà di mettere le proprie esperienze a disposizione degli altri per crescere e migliorare tutti insieme, ciascuno dei componenti del Team mette a disposizione del gruppo le attrezzature di cui dispone affinchè possano essere utilizzate durante le varie attività.
L’OSCT non è un gruppo chiuso, ma ha sempre le porte spalancate a tutti i radioamatori della Sicilia Orientale che volessero entrare a farne parte. Del resto, lo spirito dell’attività è proprio quello di stimolare l’interesse per il nostro meraviglioso hobby, soprattutto per la parte agonistica che i Contest rappresentano.
Sin dalla prima uscita, i componenti si sono subito ben affiatati, creando un gruppo compatto, nel quale ognuno è sempre pronto ad aiutare l’altro in ogni momento.
Il tutto nel migliore spirito di quello che è il motto del Team:

The OSCT Philosophy

The Team was born in 2010 by an idea of Alfio IT9EJW, who involved some members of  the two ARI branches of Catania and Acireale, and saw the union of some OMs interested to Contest activity.
Without any desire of important results, but with the declared willing to put the experiences at everyone’s disposal to grow up and improve all together, each member of the Team puts at disposal of the community the equipments that he owns so that they can be used during the Team’s activities.
OSCT isn’t a closed group, but leaves open its doors to every Ham Radio of Oriental Sicily who wish to join to it. In fact, the spirit of the activity is exactly to rouse people’s interest in our wonderful hobby, mostly about the competitiveness represented by Contesting.
Since first operation, the members of the Team joined perfectly together, making a very compact group, where everyone is always ready to help the others at every time.
So all is done according to the spirit of the Team’s Saying:
